![]() Screen Captures | Digitals | Video 1 | Video 2 | Video 3 | Video 4 Randy Orton was on the way to the ring. He had his arm in a sling. Strong reaction for Orton, but mainly boos. Orton said he didn't want to come back until he's 100 percent, but there's something to get off his chest. He said a brand is only as strong as champion. Orton said Raw was the strongest brand in WWE when he was champion. Now, Raw is an absolute joke, he said. Orton said Beth Phoenix runs around like a love-sick teenager and she's embarrassing herself. He questioned the love choice of Santino, the weakest IC champion in the history of WWE. Strong crowd reactions there. Orton said that even with a broken clavicle, he could beat Santino. He then called Cody and Teddy worthless because a couple of punks took the tag titles. Orton said he would have hunted them down and taken back what's his. Orton then turned his attention to the World champ, C.M. Punk. He said that four years ago when he first won his World Title, Punk was wrestling in no-name towns for a no-name organization. He said that Punk was able to briefcase and get a lucky title win to become World champ. Orton said he would love to challenge Punk right here tonight, but he's not medically cleared. He said will be cleared, then he will challenge Punk and re-claim this show to make everyone forget about the sorry history of Raw known as C.M. Punk.

Message from Randy about his accident |
Randy posted earlier today about almost 7pm Eastern time on our forum, giving everyone a more detailed report on his accident. I would have posted this sooner but I wanted to make sure it was cool with him.i was ran off the road last night at 1030 by a car that had its hi beams on and was veering into m lane during a sharp turn a the top of a hill near my home. i had no choice but to crash, and was thrown 300 feet from the concrete block that sent me flying. i was traveling about 30 miles per hour. i'm lucky to be alive. i have some pretty severe skinned up areas such as my left knee right foot, and left shoulder trap. wwe. com should be posting that it wasn't 30 feet but 300 soon. i just called and bitched em out, for the typo. i was wearing a helmet, and if not for that i would have without a doubt been a goner. i see what the extent of my rebroken collarbone is tommorow. ill let you all know. the bike was a harley fat bob, and it was a rental. it is totaled.im happy im alive, and that the bike wasn't mine. all i could think about was my daughter and samantha. God was definetly watching over me!!

Randy Orton escapes accident with only a broken collarbone |
Randy Orton was involved in a motorcycle accident near his home Sunday night that could have ended his life were he not wearing a helmet.Orton, who has only been riding motorcycles for a month, said he was riding around a sharp curve on a steep hill home when an oncoming car veered into his lane causing him to widen his turn. Orton then struck a curb and was thrown from his bike. He collided with the ground, knocking him unconscious. In his words, Orton "bounced and rolled just under 300 feet, landing in a ditch." "When I came to, I knew I had rebroken my collarbone," said Orton. "When the police and fireman got there, they asked me 'Where's the guy who was in the wreck?' and I said 'It was me.'" Orton, who was wearing just shorts and a sweatshirt, only sustained the rebroken collarbone. "Without a helmet, I would be dead," said Orton. "Now that I have a newborn daughter, so much was going through my head." Although the initial prognosis is that Orton will not need surgery, this injury will set him back an additional three months before he can return to the ring. Orton did have one final message for his fans ... "I will ride again."

Source: Randy Orton was recently involved in a motorcycle accident with a car near his home. He was thrown off his bike 30 feet, resulting in him re-breaking his collarbone. Orton initially injured his collarbone last June at One Night Stand during his Last Man Standing Match with Triple H for the WWE Championship. The injury he sustained from the crash will keep Orton out of action for an additional three months. On behalf of Ang, Carol and myself we at Randy-Orton.com would like to wish Randy another speedy recovery. Get well Randy!

WWE star wants "more violence" in games |
Source: WWE man-mountain Randy Orton last night became an unlikely defender of the industry's creative freedoms, urging developers to fight back against critics with a rallying cry for "more violence" in videogames. The fantasy wrestling superstar, who's currently sidelined with a broken collarbone, was in London to promote THQ's SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, and revealed to Eurogamer how he was sick and tired of the bad press gaming receives, insisting that the makers of adult titles had nothing to be ashamed of. "Violence sells. I want to see more violence in games - the more blood the better," he told us. Orton argued that videogames were the least of parents' worries, when some "don't know their kids are watching South Park". He cited the example of the Scorcese gangster flick Goodfellas as evidence that movie violence could be far more shocking than anything in a videogame, calling Grand Theft Auto "just a cartoon" in comparison.

I'd like to thank melissa_ox of our forum for writing up this recap. Randy says Summerslam is one of their biggest events of the year. He's fortunate to have been in the last five and he hopes to be back by Summerslam and is cleared by his doctor. He'll be back soon. It was one break in the clavicle and it not that bad. He recovered very quickly and he'll be back in the ring in the next few weeks. Someone mentions his little girl and he says it's awesome being a father and it does change your life. He says he loves her so much and it was so hard leaving her for the first time, but he has ichat so he's been able to see and talk to them at night. He says wrestling was in his blood. His father was Cowboy Bob, and his Grandfather was also a wrestler but sadly passed away two years ago and he misses him alot. What about the pressure? He says it helped him and there wasn't much pressure. He doesn't mean to sound arrogant but he was a natural. After a year and a half of training he was on tv. He never really had pressure because he filled the shoes quickly.

No. 1 In The “PWI 500”: Randy Orton |
Thanks to my friend Gary for the heads up!By Harry Burkett “I’m sure Randy will be thrilled to hear the news, but, speaking as someone who has seen this kid train from the very beginning, I’m not surprised at all that he’s ranked number one,” Bob Orton Jr. gave a hearty laugh on the other end of the phone. “I’ve been around this business for a long time, and I’ve seen a lot of great wrestlers, but I’ve never seen anyone work out as hard or dedicate himself to the sport quite like Randy.” The proud papa let out another belly laugh. “All I’ve got to say is that it must be in the genes!” With all due respect to Bob Orton Jr., it should be noted that even if the “PWI 500” were around during his prime, he never would have come close to the number-one spot now held by son Randy. “Yeah, yeah, I know all about the ‘500.’ You’re right, I don’t think I was quite in Randy’s league.” Bob, the 1973 Rookie of the Year, probably would have made it to the top 50 during the late-’70s and into the 1980s. His all-time high was number 130 back in 1991, when the list made its debut in the pages of PRO WRESTLING ILLUSTRATED. By that point, Orton was in the twilight of his career, competing on the independent circuit. Since then, the elder Orton has settled into life away from the wrestling business, content to watch Randy’s progress and enjoy his status as the family patriarch. “We all feel very fortunate that my father, Randy’s grandfather, was able to see him win a world title and become a big star,” said Orton. “He was very proud of Randy’s achievements.”
